About
Who is asking the questions, and why a stock market guy spends his weekends interviewing doctors and builders.
I'm Abhishek M. I'm twenty, based in Bengaluru, and NISM-certified. On most of the subjects covered on this show, I start out knowing very little — which turns out to be the useful part. I ask the question the audience is actually thinking instead of the one that sounds informed.
Guests so far have included the chairperson of a Bengaluru real-estate group and a psychology professor at CHRIST University. Next up are an angel investor and a college principal researching the physiology of breathing.
Away from the camera I work on Indian equity markets. Markets are just companies, and companies are just people doing a job well or badly. Every hour I spend with a builder, a clinician or a founder teaches me something about how an industry actually makes money — which is the part balance sheets never show you. That's the real reason this show exists.
Nothing on this site is investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Markets carry risk, including loss of capital.
